Puppet Show Outreach

After months of preparations and awaiting the Samaritan's Purse shoebox gifts to arrive, our church put on a puppet show for the needy kids in town and from surrounding villages. We held two shows, one on Saturday and one on Sunday and over 150 kids came. The kids sang songs, watched a puppet show about the birth of Jesus, had cake and juice, and received a shoebox filled with gifts. It was a great time for all involved and we were blessed to be able to take part in this outreach. Here is a video we put together of the shows...

Hiya! Nice to 'meet' you! You've got a great site. My bro Gareth used to serve in Kagarlyk, and my Dad and I are Operation Christmas Child coordinators in NZ. I followed Magdala's link on her blog in order to watch the puppet show, but it only works up to 6 seconds of the way through. =/ I've tried it two days in a row, so I don't think it's my equipment.

Hi, Narelle. We are not sure why it does not play for you...it plays for us. I will check it on another computer today to verify. Do you have facebook? If you do, the video is on there as well.
Magdala and the girls out here did a wonderful job in preparing and presenting the puppet show. It was awesome to watch our church work together to step through this door the Lord opened.
